Explaining the purpose of Lists in HTML Technology
List in HTML Technology
According to [2] The purpose of the Lists is to represent a set number of items in a list. Lists have to be contained in a parent element such as an ordered list (ol), unordered list(ul), or a menu (menu).
Examples of Lists!
- Common examples of lists can include
- Recipes (Using a numbered list to define the steps taken) What I eat for Breakfast
- Grocery List (an Unordered list, where the sequence doesn't matter and it is using bullet points instead of numbers)
What I learned!
With using the li element I learned how to properly organize information in a clean way, it helped me understand that lists are nested inside another list element like unordered list or an ordered lists, just like the recipe example or the grocery example listed above.
